The game can be played with up to six players on one table in the casino and before a hand can start every player on the table needs to place their wager in front of them. Your options are to continue playing the hand and go to war or surrender the hand. If you surrender the hand then you will receive half of your bet back, but if you want to continue playing the hand you will need to place in another bet that is equivalent to your initial bet. If you tie the first round and you don’t want to use one of the two above options then you can bet on the round of war being a tie as well. If the round of war is tied with the dealer and you beat on it being a tie you get paid out 10:1 although the likelihood of this happening is very slim.
